The Experience Center Associate (ECA) will increase sales, market share, company profitability and customer satisfaction by working with the customers and trade Center clientele in choosing from a variety of Miele luxury appliances and products.The ECA provides expert product knowledge, superior customer service and administrative necessities.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Generation

  • Maintain superior level of knowledge of Miele residential products and services through on and off-site training sessions and self-guided study to respond to client inquires
Center Operations and Merchandising
  • Responsible for accurate processing and record keeping of daily sales, inventory transactions and resolution of any discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner
  • Participate in monthly/yearly physical inventory counts
  • Responsible for maintaining all areas of the Center to the highest standards (cleaning, stocking merchandise, etc.)
  • Maintain proper storage of all food and beverages; organizing pantries and labelling food as instructed
Client Management / Customer Experience
  • Provide superior customer service to both consumer and trade Center clientele via phone, email or in-person
  • Use product knowledge to demonstrate features and benefits and assist customer/trade center clientele in making informed decisions based on their needs and wants
  • Greeting customers in an inviting and positive manner
  • Preparing quotes, and researching information as needed
  • Identify, develop leads/business opportunities, initiate relationships and ensure repeat business and referrals
  • Maintain thorough and up to date client records in CRM
Event Execution
  • Act as instructor or presenter at events and classes
  • May act as event coordinator as assigned, including overseeing event design, timelines, schedules, promotion, budgets and day of event execution
  • Accurately process all aspects of attendee registration. Includes entering attendee information into CRM
Administrative
  • Monitor and respond to Center group email and voicemail boxes
  • Thorough and accurate completion of all reporting, tracking and documents
  • Ensure all CRM data is accurate, complete and meets all specified requirements
  • May participate as a team member on other projects as assigned by other departments
  • Help to grow our culture of teamwork and unity through positivity
Requirements
  • Associates degree plus 3 years of experience within luxury retail showroom or sales experience preferred
  • Experience with CRM software (ideally SalesForce)
  • Must be highly detail oriented, accurate and organized
  • Effective communication skills: written, oral, negotiation, problem resolution
  • Quick learner, able to work and think independently as well as lead
  • Available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends
  • Ability to identify new business opportunities within their region in alignment with company objectives
