The SMB Account Executive is responsible for:

  • Managing the overall relationship with the assigned accounts
  • Leading the sales process in renewals and upsell opportunities
  • Identifying opportunities to grow the Intrado portfolio of products in assigned accounts by engaging a Intrado Cross-Seller
  • Locating the appropriate account buyer for renewal and upsell opportunities, and make introductions as necessary for Cross-Sellers
  • Developing, managing, and nurturing relationships with accounts, increasing their affinity for Intrado products, adding new contracts, and likelihood of renewals
  • Achieving assigned sales billing and bookings quotas
  • Monitoring account satisfaction and identify customer problems; coordinate with Intrado Customer Engagement to remedy situations
  • Developing and maintaining up-to-date expert understanding of assigned account solutions and understanding of relevant competitor solutions
  • Researching and actively identifying emerging trends that influence Intrado's value proposition
  • Communicating value proposition to existing accounts
  • Identifying and coordinating timely involvement of sales operations resources in the sales cycle to improve efficiencies
  • Proactively managing pipeline; input, monitor, and update opportunities in a timely fashion

Qualifications

Education
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in business administration, marketing or a related field required. Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements.

Experience
  • Minimum 3 years increasingly responsible experience in national, regional or state sales to include extensive cold calling required, preferably in the telecommunications industry.
  • Experience with Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) and/or Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) highly preferred.

Other
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required
