RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce is seeking a Software Automation Engineering Manager in Ada, OK.Summary:This hands-on role is for an experienced and creative Software Test Engineering Manager who will lead quality assurance (QA) efforts in the team. A qualified candidate will have thought deeply about the relationship between unit, integration, functional, and user-interface (UI) testing - along with how to leverage each for maximum results and minimal redundancy. We are looking for an individual who is obsessed with the discipline of quality assurance, who possesses the skills to automate a test suite in a modern CI/CD (continuous integration/continuous delivery) stack, along with code coverage and processes that continually grow the overall test suite. Job Responsibilities:

• Design and implement test plans, procedures, scenarios, and scripts to accurately assess new products or software updates according to customer requirements and company policies
• Develop testing strategy for various aspects, such as usability, database impact, error and bug finding, regression testing, and implementation scenarios
• Identify, analyze, and create detailed records of problems that appear during testing, such as software defects, bugs, functionality issues, and output errors, and work directly with software developers to find solutions and develop retesting procedures
• Engage in ongoing personal study of modern technologies, especially as applicable to quality assurance
• Provide ongoing mentoring of the software testing team
• Participate as a major stakeholder in release management sign-off for production software.
• Track problems, resolutions, and bug fixes throughout testing and create a comprehensive database of defects and successful mitigation techniques
• Create detailed, step-by-step documentation of test procedures for each phase or project as needed to ensure replicability, compliance with standards, and growth of company knowledge base

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• Minimum of five (5) years of relevant work experience
• Excellent time-management skills and commitment to meet deadlines
• Experience with web technologies spanning HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and related
• Experience with relational database technology (e.g. MySQL, Postgres, or equivalent)
• Experience with UI testing tools, such as Selenium or Appium
• Proficiency with dotnet (.Net) core framework
• Experience with Redux
• Well-rounded experience with multiple operating systems, virtualization technologies, and test environments
• Experience managing small, agile teams
