Overview

Geo-Instruments, Inc provides geotechnical and structural monitoring services. We manufacture, supply, install, and integrate geotechnical and structural sensors, along with geomatic systems. We automate the collection, processing, visualization and delivery of data.

We are currently looking for Software Developers to support ongoing development and maintenance of our data collection and data visualization software platforms.

Responsibilities

• Configurating the automated collection of data from our deployed monitoring devices.
• Validating the accuracy of the data being collected.
• Writing and implementing scripts for data processing and data parsing.
• Setting up our customer facing web platform for data visualization.
• Performing daily system checks and maintaining system functionality.

Qualifications

Experience and Skills:

• Positions are available for Software Developers with a background in software development, programming, engineering or computer sciences.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Proficiency with SQL, postgreSQL Python, Visual Studio, C+.
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot information.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Experience in Instrumentation systems, remote measurements, electromechanical systems, robotics, and basic techniques is a plus.
• Experience in geotechnical instrumentation, vibration monitoring or construction experience is a bonus.
