As Software Engineer you will, as a member of our core Modelling Physics team, take the technical responsibility within the field of our core software infrastructure in the business area AirTech. You will develop the new code infrastructure together with the team and prepare the calculation framework for Munters AirTech's future requirements.

What you will do:

• Improving current calculation and development methods for our core products and expand the methods to include the latest programming features.
• Work closely with our Mathematicians and Thermodynamics Engineers to expand our software capabilities to cover the latest applications.
• Together with the AI team, integrate AI functionality in our core calculation software using existing and developing new database structures.
• Finding suitable algorithms, feature engineering, testing, and evaluating model, deploy the solution.

Your profile

To succeed in this role, you have a degree within software development and minimum three years of relevant work experience within calculation software development in C#, C++ and R/Python. You are an experienced .NET developer and are comfortable in shouldering a responsibility in good programming practice.

Good understanding of data structure and Big Data is a plus as well as technical and physical knowledge.

It is key that you have a continuous interest of keeping up to date on Programming practices of how to implement fast calculation software. You are an innovative person who feel comfortable in taking the lead in developing a new field for Munters AirTech.

All research is made in close collaboration within the research team as well as key roles in the organization. This means a lot of contact surfaces where it's required that you are a doer that actively search contact to collaborate and identify new possibilities in order to deliver with focus on results.

Principal tasks: Set structures for and implement Munters AirTech calculation software.

Product scope: All Munters AirTech products.

Interfaces and stakeholders: PMC, Rotor R&D, Evap media R&D, R&D Automation, Genesys team and Service, Sales and Product Management.

Communication skills: fluency in English

Minimum educational and experience requirements: Master degree in software development, minimum three years' of relevant work experience. A doctoral degree within the fields of software development is a merit.

The ideal candidate would

• Have experience and interest from research in the field of calculation software programming or numerical methods.
• Have three to four years of experience with calculation software development in C# and C++.
• Be updated (and have a continuous interest of keeping up to date) on programming standards and numerical methods of how to implement fast calculation software.
• Take initiatives and responsibility within his/her field.
• Be organized (personality) to be able to build up a new software family.
• Be a team player who like to work very tight in smaller teams with deadlines to keep.
• Be a doer that is comfortable with delivering and that has a focus on results.
