Job Description Summary:
The PayPal Customer Success Organization is looking for a Full stack/ Node.JS/React Engineer to join its Customer Self Service Solutions team .This team is responsible for design and develop self service solutions to provide assistance that enables the customers to successfully use PayPal products . We are a strategic part of the PayPal business plan to enable operational efficiencies and revenue enablement through sefservice opportunities through chatbot, Voice, Contextual Help and NLP Management. As a member of this team, you will assist us in building the world class Self service solutions by leveraging PayPal Platforms/products. Job Description:

Required Job Skills:
  • B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related field is preferred, coupled with 3- years' professional experience
  • Proficient with Functional and Object-Oriented Java coding
  • Experience with Genesys Contact Center APIs and integrations preferred
  • Proficient with Webpack and other build and packaging systems
  • Proficient writing automated unit and functional tests
  • Experience with RESTful web services and SOA concepts
  • Proficient with Git source control and effective branching and release management practices
  • Ability to debug, diagnose and resolve complex Java bugs throughout the stack
  • Strong communication skills in a collaborative environment
  • Strong critical thinking skills; Ability to devise innovative solutions
Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical leadership for front end development
  • Document best practices , coding standards and setup processes to ensure team develops code in most efficient way possible.
  • Work with the Agile team to clarify the new products and features requested by the Product team
  • Collaborate with other developers to design and implement the required solutions
  • Participate in pair programming in the delivery of both POC and targeted features
  • Understand and apply our technical architecture to ensure consistent, reliable, and secure deployments.
  • Enhance and maintain existing product capabilities
  • Participate in formal and informal code reviews to ensure code quality
  • Actively contribute to the automated test suite to enable continuous integration
  • Assist with application deployments in our Cloud environment
Bonus Skills:
  • Experience with continuous integration and delivery tools such as Jenkins
  • Experience with analytic instrumentation, querying with Hive/Hadoop, Teradata, Kibana or Splunk
  • Experience with Enterprise Java and supporting Java frameworks
