RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client, a growing and established Technology company in the Scottsdale, AZ area is seeking a Software Engineer with strong C++ programming experience. We are working directly with the Hiring Manager on this exclusive search assignment. Will be responsible for the design, documentation, code construction, testing and maintenance of software applications for medical device products. This position serves as a key technical contributor for new product design as well as legacy product support.Essential Functions of the Software Engineer:

• The Software Engineer will develop information systems by designing, developing, and installing software solutions
• Determines operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions
• The Software Engineer will perform non-software tasks to support company objectives such as feasibility studies, V&V activities, and QMS compliance
• Applies computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis to the software development process
• The Software Engineer will ensure all functional requirements are documented properly to ensure guidelines are achieved
• This position is expected to learn the products and obtain a detailed understanding of all software functions

REQUIREMENTS:

• BS degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is required
• 4-7+ years of hands on development experience in C++ language
• Experience in System and Test Engineering is strongly preferred
• Strong C++ programming experience
• Familiarity with C++ 11/14/17 would be ideal
• Skilled with UML documentation and creation of interfaces for existing or legacy programs or similar
• Knowledge of Cmake, linux OS (specifically Ubuntu and Debian), scripting (bash) and with GIT (or SVN), boost library and Postgres databases are plusses
• Knowledge of Docker and Jenkins, DICOM and a basic knowledge of STM and USB are plusses
• Multi Product experience.
• Experience working in collaboration with Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Quality, Regulatory and Production and Sales
• Experience in working with international teams is a plus
• Experience working in an FDA regulated environment is a plus but not required
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• This is a hands-on position; that requires a high level of trust with unrestricted access to products, code and documentation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must feel comfortable asking questions when clarity is needed
• Ability to adapt and work efficiently in a rapidly changing dynamic environment with the ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects effectively
• Having knowledge of and demonstrating a willingness to work through different cultures' beliefs, values, and traditions is a must
• Bilingual in German is a plus
