The Software Development in Test Internship will help advance the software to the next level of quality and scalability by automating manual processes and automating functional tests.

At TSI, you'll be part of a real project, getting real experience!

• Work with state-of-the-art automation testing frameworks and regression test suites learning best practices acquiring real world experience
• Work side by side with engineering professionals to learn to contribute on a project team
• Develop an understanding of the new product development environment and how you will apply the skills you've acquired through your education
• Work with leading edge technology to develop sophisticated electronic measurement instruments and applications
• Experience new product development from beginning to end not just a niche

At TSI, here's just some of the experience you will gain:

Analyzing, developing, and maintain automated scripts for web and mobile applications

Developing and maintaining automation frameworks that consist of functional libraries and adhering to coding standards

Page Object Model design patterns

Functional testing from front-end GUI to back-end database, APIs, or file scenarios

Write SQL queries to perform data validation

Continuous Integration

Agile Scrum methodology working with developers, product owner, and scrum master

Opportunities to contribute to real customer facing products

Qualifications and Skills:

• Major/Program: Computer Science, Software Engineering, or another STEM major
• Coursework in Software Development and Methodology, Object-Oriented language such as Java, C#, or JavaScript
• Maintain a minimum CUM 3.0 GPA (based on a 4.0 scale)
• Student Status: Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited college or university
• Strong desire to learn, self-motivated
• Naturally high attention to detail, good organization skills
