Overview

The Spalding APP General Surgery is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team of licensed and unlicensed care givers who ensure that patients, families and significant others receive individualized high quality, safe patient care. It is expected that all RN Clinical Nurses - are licensed, knowledgeable and uphold the practice of nursing as outlined by the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and implements the Scope of Practice and Code of Ethics Standards put forth by the American Nurses Association.

Job Summary:

Wellstar Medical Group is seeking a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to work with our established General Surgery team of 3 physicians in Griffin, GA at Wellstar Spalding Hospital.

Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions: seeing patients in clinic, inpatient rounding, possible OR first assisting and other duties as needed or assigned.

Required Minimum Education: Certified Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.

Required Minimum Experience: Surgery and/or inpatient experience as an APP preferred
