Summary:

Delivery Operations Specialist are responsible for scrubbing trucks and preparing the folders for the warehouse associates. They’re also responsible for processing 3PL transfers, scrubbing pick list and printing the labels and manifest for the warehouse associates. After the 3PL trucks leave the warehouse, the order drops should be saved and emailed to the appropriate parties; plus, the transfers need to be acknowledged to the correct hub. Along with processing routes for shipment each day, the candidate must have customer service skills and possess the ability to keep our customer’s order and personal information confidential.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Scrub trucks and prepare folders

Verify contact information is correct

Check for fully committed paid in full orders

Reassign pieces to appropriate picking locations

Place delivery tickets and manifest in folders

Processing 3PL trucks

Create 3PL transfer to the appropriate hub

Scrub pick list to pull pieces from appropriate picking locations

Print manifest and labels for the warehouse associates

Save order drops

Acknowledge transfers to the appropriate hub

Daily Pull-Offs/Reported Damage

Work with logistics specialist to get RA and new piece(s) set up

Get scheduled on next available truck

Keep customer updated

Overages/Shortages

Reach out to the appropriate Hub coordinator to research

Log into Queue to take calls

Assist our customers with updates on their order

Assist our stores with getting orders added on or pulled off

Assist our concierge/inventory department with rescheduling orders when necessary

Assist our drivers and/or our provider’s drivers with completing a delivery when necessary

Maintain emails and Salesforce case assignments

Acknowledge receipt of emails/cases and provide updates if research is required

Provide details of steps taken to handle request

Direct requestor to appropriate department for assistance if necessary

Education, Experience and Other Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma; College degree preferred
• Years of experience: Some customer service and call center experience preferred
• Valid Driver’s license preferred
• Computer proficiency: Working knowledge of computer programs
• Understanding of general work practices in warehousing and distribution, including order processing, picking, and shipping processes and procedures.
• Dedicated to business and allow flexibility with work hours if necessary

Essential Functions of the Position:

• Performing tasks using a computer and telephone daily
• Repetitive processing steps.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer’s information.
• Always willing to adapt to change and keep an open mind to training
• Consistent regular scheduled attendance is considered an essential function of this job.
