Description

The SRT Technicians operate as a specialized team within the dispensing facility. Their functionality provides a link between the Front end processing of prescription orders (E-post) and the Back end filling of prescriptions (QMSI). These technicians maintain access into both processing systems allowing them the opportunity to ensure that orders requiring special attention or intervention are processed quickly and effectively.

Responsibilities

The Primary Role Responsibilities of SRT technicians include but are not limited to the following:

  • Monitor SRT Inbox and SRT escalation phone line for incoming requests
  • Process orders in Fulfillment Exceptions queue
  • Performing Aged Report analysis and provide reporting during daily workflow calls
  • Escalating and tracking orders as they process through the systems that are identified as High Priority Orders (HPO) and Aging Work.
  • Effectively communicate with Dispensing Line Operators
  • Communicate with Inventory Back Order teams regarding executing drug moves and NDC changes
  • Partner with A-Team members in the processing of Home Office, Commercial, and High Priority/Mandatory Mail orders
  • Researching and processing Undeliverable Mail items returned to the pharmacy
  • Tracking and Quarantine of destroyed and Return to Stock (RTS) medications during the processing of Undeliverable Mail
  • Interact directly with Humana members to verify shipping information
  • Notation of work and Member Information in E-post Profiles
  • Completing End of Day (EOD) reporting for Undeliverable mail processed daily
  • Execute Stop Orders and conducting regularly scheduled Rounds through the pharmacy to retrieve Hazard packages from the dispensing line
  • Partner with Shipping Department to locate and retrieve packages once outside of the QMSI system when necessary
  • Manually filling and processing of orders as needed
  • Process Returns and Claim Reversals (Ohio Site Only)
  • Participate in individual Research and Analysis projects for issues impacting the processing of orders through both E-Post and QMSI systems as needed

    **All SRT technicians musttrain inand maintain a working knowledge of the Dispensing Technicians Core Functions as well as some Specialty Functions.
Shift: 5:30 am - 4:00 pm (Wednesday -Saturday)

Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must have an active Arizona Pharmacy Tech License
  • Must be a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT / PTCB)
  • Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Software (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to learn Internal computer based processing systems (E-Post, QMSI, BWPS)
  • Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally with multiple Humana departments and Humana Members
All Dispensing and SRT Technicians are required to meet the following Physical Requirements:
  • Technicians must have the ability to walk and stand during an entire work shift
  • Technicians must have the ability to lift 40-50lbs occasionally and 25-30lbs frequently
  • Technicians must possess hand strength to grasp and twist items continuously
  • Technicians must have the ability to work around pharmaceutical products
  • Technicians must have the ability to reach above the waist and shoulders frequently
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with problem solving through multi system research
  • Applying Six Sigma concepts to process improvement
  • Advanced Excel skills including writing Formulas, Macros and VBA
Additional Information:

For this job, associates are required to be fully COVID vaccinated (preferred) or undergo weekly COVID testing and wear a face covering while at work. The weekly testing will need to be done through an approved Humana vendor, and unvaccinated associates should follow all social distancing and masking protocols if they are required to come into a Humana facility or work outside of their home.
