What will you be doing?
  • Deliver appropriate and approved information and relevant messaging to target accounts
  • Achieve call and sales activity targets as set by the company
  • Complete administrative duties as required
  • Demonstrate deep marketplace, therapeutic, product and disease expertise based on thorough understanding of rigorous scientific principles and data, including mechanism of action, indications, efficacy, safety, etc.
  • Understand and apply knowledge of health care industry, trends, applicable laws and regulations, market conditions, and the market access environment (including but not limited to pharmacy-economics, payer/ reimbursement landscape and patient flow/influence between institutions and community practices) and analyze these factors in the development of business plans and in daily execution of sales calls within compliance guidelines.
  • Establish, maintain, and develop strong relationships with customers in HCP offices, health networks and pharmacies
  • Demonstrate advanced ability to ask strategic, insightful questions to obtain information on customer needs from all stakeholders in accounts, using the insights to position current promoted brands and collaborate with customers on a customized strategy.

What do you need for this position?
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3+ years B2B or B2C sales experience
  • 1-3 years of pharmaceutical sales experience; respiratory/allergy experience preferred.
  • A proven track record of driving results, customer service, hospitality or equivalent sales/industry experience
  • Understanding of standing orders, formulary and guidelines desirable
  • Ability to handle large geographies, multiple stakeholders and adjust and flex quickly and seamlessly to address target customers concerns and objections
  • Ability to do extra projects for leadership and marketing via conference calls and meetings
  • Ability to learn scientific information and be able to educate other people on it
  • Able to handle fast pace and high volume of face-to-face interaction
  • Involvement in extracurricular activities/programs
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Strong work ethic
  • Ability/willingness to travel as needed
  • Valid driver's license in good standing
