Job Title: Senior Automation Technician

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Automation Technician to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Automation Technician, you will play a pivotal role in leading the M-F automation group's activities, ensuring seamless operations and adherence to quality standards. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Leadership Role:
    • Act as a lead for the M-F automation group, guiding and overseeing team activities.
    • Attend morning production meetings and serve as a representative for the automation group.
  • Compliance Management:
    • Own compliance to Work Order inputs, ensuring accurate and timely execution.
    • Maintain meticulous project tracking details to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Feedback and Communication:
    • Provide regular feedback to the automation manager on the needs of the group.
    • Identify and communicate training gaps within the team, working towards continuous improvement.
    • Address cultural areas for improvement and contribute to fostering a positive work environment.
  • Facilitator of Workload:
    • Facilitate workload distribution within the automation group, ensuring optimal efficiency.
    • Serve as a role model in executing tasks with precision and efficiency.
  • Lead by Example:
    • Demonstrate the expected behavior and performance of a Senior Automation Technician.
    • Set a high standard for technical expertise, problem-solving, and attention to detail.

  • Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in Automation, Engineering, or a equivalent experience in related field.
    • Proven experience as an Automation Technician, preferably in a senior or lead role.
    • In-depth knowledge of automation systems, PLCs, and other relevant technologies.
    • Strong project management skills with a focus on meeting deadlines.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.
    • Leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
