Sr. Business Development Manager at MSP

This position will focus on growing MSP's Semiconductor manufacturing related products and services. We provide technology differentiated vaporization and filtration products to global CVD/ALD tool manufacturers. A second value stream supplies wafer/mask contamination standards and systems globally to defect inspection equipment manufacturers, mask shops, and FABS. The Business Development position is responsible for driving incremental business through improved customer access for the MSP sales team, identification of unmet/underserved customer needs, improved global sales channel strategy, identification of value-added partnerships and acquisition candidates. The role requires an experienced and aggressive business development professional with solid semiconductor industry and product knowledge, strong technical skills, knowledge of the latest industry trends and semiconductor manufacturing technology roadmap.This role does not close sales or secure direct leads to hand to sales teams. This position has global responsibility, reports directly to the President and is a member of the Senior Management Team.

  • Create strategic opportunities to grow customers, markets, and relationships.
  • Stay knowledgeable about the current market and effectively target opportunities for growth.
  • Work cross functionally to identify new ideas, initiatives, and activities to increase revenue and create value for the organization and customers.
  • Identify and develop strategic alliances and partnerships working to execute new customers, new markets, new distribution channels, and new products.
  • Identify, investigate, and develop rationale/investment thesis for acquisition targets.
  • Work closely with sales and marketing for effective identification of new customers and development of new business opportunities.
  • Leverage analysis of the semiconductor market and competitive intelligence to define growth strategies.

What Do You Need?
Required
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in the semiconductor industry
  • Minimum of 5 years in key account management, product management, business development, or sales leadership
  • Excellent interpersonal and organization skills to interface with customers, internal business partners, and management.
  • Ability to Travel up to 50% is required.
Desired
  • Masters degree in business or technology related field
  • Experience with front end and back end processing tools and supplier base
  • Experience with wafer/mask defect inspection tools, applications, and supplier base
  • Superior quantitative analytical skills, including financial modeling and analysis
  • Proven track record of growing new and existing business
