Location: Owings Mills, MD
Description: The Judge Group is currently seeking a Sr. Data Analyst to support a large financial institution. This position offers a hybrid schedule with three days required in the office in Owings Mills, MD.

As a Technical Analyst, you'll play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our company's databases. You'll collaborate with senior management, technical teams, and clients to ensure data requirements are met effectively. Responsibilities:

Data Strategy and Implementation:

• Work closely with senior management, technical teams, and clients to understand data requirements.
• Develop business data implementation approaches and best practices for advanced data manipulation, storage, and analysis.
• Code logical and physical database descriptions, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
• Specify identifiers for databases within the management system or guide others in coding descriptions.

Enterprise Data ETL Processes:

• Design, implement, automate, and maintain large-scale enterprise data ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
• Optimize data flows, ensuring efficient and reliable data movement across systems.
• Database Management and Troubleshooting:
• Modify existing databases and database management systems as needed.
• Collaborate with programmers and analysts to make necessary changes.
• Test programs and databases rigorously, correcting errors promptly.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., computer science, computer engineering, or related).
• 8-10 years of applicable experience in database management and analysis.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, data warehousing).
• Knowledge of the ETL process and best practices.
• Familiarity with at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, PowerShell).

Soft Skills:

• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrated history of success in managing complex data projects.
