Intrado Digital Media is hiring a Sr DevOps Engineer who can work 8:00-5:00 ET. Day to day responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

• Collaborate with Dev, QA, and DevOps teams and complete work as assigned for the Company's products
• Using Terraform, work in our Cloud environments (services offered from AWS and GCP) and infrastructure services (EC2, serverless services, S3, etc services offered by AWS) to build and manage the Company infrastructure
• Very good at troubleshooting issues by reviewing information at hand, developing detailed implementation plans with automation and test details, and mentoring team members
• Pro-active communication of technical problems and needs
• Follow and improve our vulnerability and compliance process for Operating Systems and cloud environments
• Join team daily stand up meetings and collaborate with peers and teams within the organization
• Create and improve our Ansible playbooks
• Setup and provide support for logging and monitoring our infrastructure in the cloud
• Maintain, expand and improve existing Continuous Integration, testing and deployment of web applications and services.
• Ensuring the highest possible availability of live systems under your remit, including willingness to work out-of-hours in urgent circumstances
• Be on a rotational on-call schedule
• Adhering to company software standards and enforcing company security standards
• Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor or team lead depending on severity and business needs

Minimum Qualifications:

Education
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Technology, however equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements
• Industry relevant certifications are preferred, but not required

Experience and Technical Skill

3+ years of experience in:
• Developing or implementing new Cloud solution architecture with an emphasis on networking and cloud security while migrating existing on-prem applications to the AWS
• Writing infrastructure code and configuration management code with tools such as terraform and ansible
• Implementing good quality assurance practices such as unit testing for all infrastructure code and configurations

5+ year of experience in:
• Development, systems operations / support or DevOps environment required
• Hands on experience with AWS Services such as VPC configuration, EC2, IAM, EKS, load balancing technologies
• Architecting multi-tier infrastructure stacks, particularly in web applications
• Building CI/CD pipelines and other workflow automations using similar tools as our devops stack
• Administration of Linux servers in the cloud through automation.
• Scripting with Python and/or Bash
• Monitoring and measurements - connecting the dots through effective measurements of everything that can be measured in the interest of quality improvements and maximizing throughput using tools like New Relic, an ELK stack or similar tools
• 1+ year of experience building, maintaining or supporting managed Kubernetes platforms such as EKS

Candidates with the following experience will be highly considered:

Experience
• 7+ years systems engineering/systems administration experience
• 3+ years working with cloud-based technologies
• Prior experience in an Agile (Scrum/Kanban) environment
• Prior experience with Version Control Systems (Git and GitHub Enterprise)

Technical Skills
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• AWS and GCP Cloud Infrastructure (EC2, VPC, Route53, ELB/ALB, Terraform, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB or similar tools)
• Operations (CloudWatch Logs, New Relic, Elasticsearch or ELK stack, Splunk Enterprise or similar tools)
• Continuous Integration and Deployment (Git, Jenkins, Docker or similar tools)
• AWS Network services (VPC, peering, VPN, Route53, Route tables), Terraform Infrastructure as Code, Git source control, working in a team w/other engineers using Kanban or Scrum/Agile practices
• Working with Cisco/other network services, monitoring tools PRTG, Linux OS
