Adecco is hiring immediately for highly-skilled Senior Engineering Technician jobs at a local client in Austin, TX. Engineering Technicians do essential jobs with one of our premier clients in a state-of-the-art facility, with pay rates from $28.00 - $36.00/hr. depending on skills and experience. As an Engineering Technician, you will complete testing, troubleshooting, repair, calibration tasks on complex semiconductor fabrication equipment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Working from highly complex test procedures, electro/mechanical schematics, diagrams, written and/or verbal descriptions and layouts to perform testing, checkout and troubleshooting functions
  • Developing, implementing, and writing test procedures for the department
  • Writing technical reports
  • Performing operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment
  • Determining methods or actions to remedy malfunctions
  • Performing mechanical and repair task
  • Receiving general instructions on new assignments; assignments are often self-initiated
  • Other duties are required as assigned
    • Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering or manufacturing related discipline; Associate degree in an engineering or manufacturing related discipline plus 6 or more years of experience in the field
  • Previous experience with use and understanding of a Multimeter
  • Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams
  • Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
