Concurrent Real-Time's Pompano Beach headquarters is currently looking for a Sr. Hardware Engineer to join the hardware team!

Position Summary:

• Responsible for executing or independently achieving project objectives by performing a variety of complex engineering and process tasks that require in-depth and diversified technical knowledge. Duties may pertain to product design and or development, manufacturability, product quality/test, system compatibility and sales/marketing support. Must be familiar with computer aided design tools.

Essential Duties:

• Primary focus: Development and support of CCRT designed hardware product line.
• Secondary focus: Direct and assist manufacturing with integration and test of complex computer systems. Occasional travel to customer sites to install and support the systems.
• Assess and determine areas of current engineering emphasis in order to focus attention on maximum utilization of engineering capabilities.
• Translate future product needs into engineering feasibility and be aware of product and project issues across multiple engineering disciplines.
• Consider all systems level aspects of products in accomplishing the most complex conceptual and innovative design projects.

• Develop understanding of department's identity and efforts, and the corporate role.
• Employ all required section equipment, tools and methods.
• Contribute to improving the technical knowledge base and effectiveness of other engineers.
• Interface with co-workers and staff from other departments and ensure positive working relationship.
• Impart technical expertise within department, and to customers, users' groups.
• Perform such other duties as assigned.

Experience Requirements:

• Familiarity with computer-aided design tools for PC design such as OrCAD. Some experience with mechanical CAD tools such as AutoCAD and Solid Works. Experience with electronic test and measurement equipment.
• Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline.

Salary:

At Concurrent Real-Time and HBK we believe that transparency builds strong relationships; which is why we post the salary for our positions! This position has a starting range of $100,000 - 130,000 USD.
