The impact you'll have

The Sr. Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) supporting the Sales organization within Softchoice is a trusted advisor to senior leadership in multiple and diverse sales channels which include, Commercial Enterprise, Specialty and Inside Sales. The Sr. People and Growth (P&G) Business Partner will consult with the business group's leadership in US and Canada to support the execution of their strategies through a collaborative partnership.

As a Sr. P&G Business Partner you will also support the implementation and adoption of new People & Growth programs by promoting effective change management practices within the various Sales Channels.

What You will do:

  • Partner with sales leaders to support an exceptional employee experience.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to Managers in Sales Channels related to talent, development, performance management of their respective teams
  • Support Leaders on organizational changes using change management methodology
  • Consult with the business on matters related to compensation and partner with Compensation on job evaluation and reviews to ensure we are competitive in the market
  • Drive adoption of specific P&G programs and policies and work with the COEs to ensure the messages are tailored to the Sales Channel to further adoption and understanding
  • Act as a subject matter expert of P&G, legal, and regulatory requirements in conjunction with best practices to ensure business unit compliance
  • Partner with Sales Leadership on identification of top talent and support creation of effective and high impact development plans to build a robust and diverse succession plan
  • Support overall DEI Strategy by partnering with leadership on their DEI action planning and facilitate and support DEI initiatives as required
  • Proactively work with management team on workforce planning for Inside Sales
  • Facilitate decisions around internal employee investigations for select client group
  • Help leaders understand levers that reinforce a winning culture and lead with our values, drive engagement, foster an inclusive and diverse environment, and create a high-quality employee experience

What You'll Bring

  • Strong professional and executive presence, and possess strong planning, organizational skills, and experience leading projects
  • Strong stakeholder management, considered an asset if across a North America
  • Proven ability to interact with all levels with comprehensive consultative, partnering, facilitating and influencing/negotiation skills
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity
  • Highly adaptable to reacting to unanticipated, unplanned, and unexpected events to support the business
  • Can interpret conceptual or loosely defined business or project objectives and assess impact on P&G
  • Possess strong integrity with the ability to maintain confidentiality and manage highly sensitive information
  • People management experience considered an asset
  • A university degree in a related discipline (Human Resources, Industrial Relations) preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of US employment legislation (Canadian legislation an asset)
  • Exceptional commitment to customer service with strong sense of urgency
  • Strong organizational development experience and the ability to problem solve and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • 8 plus years' experience as a Business Partner ideally in a complex Sales environment
