Job Description Summary

We are looking for a Sr. Machine Learning Engineer to design, develop, install, and maintain data science solutions. The successful candidate can build high-quality and fully performing solutions in accordance with industry best practices. The Machine Learning Engineer will develop solutions to integrate on premise and cloud data analytic platforms and optimize data delivery systems. This is a "hands-on" position requiring solid technical skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Must be capable of working independently and collaboratively and have a passion for solving our customer's challenges. The Ideal candidate will be self-motivated and have a natural curiosity to learn more as this position offers the opportunity to work with the latest cloud-based technologies and tools.

Job Description

• Design, develop, code, test, and debug complex new software applications and makes fixes or enhancements to existing software.

• Writes unit tests and performs code reviews.

• Works to establish strong SDLC practices to improve software quality and efficiency.

• Leverage automation tools and processes needed to test and deploy software solutions.

• Support data analyst and data science teams by developing data integration and automation solutions.

• Assist in optimizing data delivery pipelines and machine learning frameworks.

• Collaborate with business unit teams to understand their needs and devise ways to accomplish them with software.

• Continually learn, actively share knowledge, and foster exchange of skills.

Basic & Preferred Qualifications

• We are looking for a candidate with 4+ years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer.

• Strong understanding of Machine Learning & software engineering and established best practices.

• Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science, Math, or Information Systems. Master's degree preferred.

• Ability to document requirements and specifications.

• Mastery in software engineering tools and ML/AI practices

• Must be proficient with Python and SQL including ML frameworks, libraries, and big data platforms.

• Demonstrated ability to solve problems, determine appropriate action, and complete projects with little direction.

• Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment tools.
