Overview

We at Cradlepoint are proud of our world class SaaS platform. Our Net Cloud Manager(NCM) provides management of millions of geographically distributed devices with a massive feature set offerings for Mobile, 5G, branch solutions with advanced Analytics offerings. With overwhelming success of our NCM, we now focus on building Private Cellular Network, supporting various deployment and service models from on-prem to cloud , 4G/5G support catering to all customer needs. Enhancing the private cellular network with integrations of various other offerings of Cradlepoint solutions from Network as Service, Security, AI Analyitics is further part of our evolution strategy. The qualified leader would drive and build at scale private cellular network offerings.
Responsibilities

• Manage a software engineering team that builds, designs, implements and maintains back-ends for PCN and NCM integration
• Work closely with the product management organization to develop and deliver on roadmaps and contribute to product strategy. At times requirements and technical direction may not always be clear, and the Engineering Manager is encouraged to step in, set that direction, measure results and adjust
• Work and lead by example in a cross-functional team environment to resolve dependencies and address technical challenges
• Foster team development in both software as well as domain-specific knowledge and expertise to position for growth and embrace challenges
• Communicate and keep Sr management team well informed of the direction/priorities of the team
• Influence and establish best engineering practices through solid design decisions, Quality, processes and tools
• Run scrums, sprint planning and be able to help establish priorities to the team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or closely related field
• 5-7+ years of experience leading software engineering teams (mentoring junior engineers, setting technical direction, etc.)
• Solid domain knowledge in building Private Cellular Network
• Good understanding of private or public cloud design considerations like AWS, containerization, distributed systems, load balancing, LTE architechture
• Agile practitioner with proven track record of delivering successfully within strict timelines
• Excellent organization, prioritization and communication skills
