The Sr. Network Administrator will architect, design, install, test, and maintain networking solutions for Datasite as part of the Corporate IT team. This will include modern Cloud based solutions as well as prem based systems in offices globally. Knowledge and experience with SASE solutions, as well as Azure and other Cloud environments layered with knowledge of premise wiring and route/switch platforms will be necessary. Experience with Wan routing will also be required. Works with both outside vendors and internal IT personnel.

Preferred location is the Minneapolis, MN area but will consider US remote.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Implements networking and telephony equipment and solutions
  • Architects and designs global networking solutions
  • Does sophisticated configuration of networking equipment
  • Does sophisticated troubleshooting of networking systems
  • SASE based solution delivery
  • Monitors network systems and assists in performing corrective action

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience is required
  • 5+ years professional IT experience in the networking field including knowledge and experience with SASE solutions
  • Cloud networking; Azure highly preferred
  • Excellent working knowledge of Cisco hardware and internetworking Operating System (IOS); experience in Cisco Meraki
  • Expertise in Information Technology including knowledge of routing and switching, TCP/ IP, BGP, OSPF, SIP, QoS..
  • Experience with Network Management
  • VPN knowledge
  • Radius services
  • Excellent communications skills and customer service attitude.
  • Organization and analysis skills, problem solving ability
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Must be able to move 30 pounds from floor to shoulder height, work in tight enclosures and/or go up ladders to connect wires

Maintains availability and willingness to work such days and hours as the employer determines are necessary or desirable to meet its business needs. Periodic on-call duty might apply.
