Intrado's Global Technology Services Department within our Digital Media segment is currently seeking a Sr Software Developer in Test (UX testing focus). The work location is office based in Boston or can be remote in the United States.

• You are part of an agile development team, the 12 principles of the "agile manifesto" guide you during SaaS components development
• You strategize test automation with the roadmap and implement testing frameworks to validate functional and non-functional requirements
• During the feature and component development process you deliver stable and well-structured test scripts alongside to service's code
• You participate in planning sessions and make sure that UX standards are considered for all new features and components
• You supervise Quality standards during the entire developments process and influence architectural and design decisions
• You evangelize software testing best practices to assure that automated test executions remain stable and efficient
• You setup self-generated reports to inform stakeholders about quality related queries on a regular basis and suggest process related improvement opportunities
• You interact with SDETs and other quality assurance specialists of internal and external teams to validate the integration of components and services
• With your team you address complex problems and lead testing related problem solving initiatives

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, or a related field required. Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements.

Experience: Minimum five years increasingly responsible software design and implementation experience
using a standard coding language and/or platform required.

• Candidates with the following will be highly considered
o Your experience with automated testing is solid and you have development quite a passion for quality
o A degree or certificate in a quality assurance related discipline is a plus
o In your career you had been member of an agile team for several years (Scrum, SAFe, XP) and you live and breathe DevOps culture
o You have an eye for User Experience of web applications and web design
o Hands-on experience in cloud architecture (AWS) and testing applications on cloud infrastructure
o Significant hands-on experience in test automation tools usage (UI-Test automation, integration testing, stress- and load testing)
o Advanced experience in Java and Python (3.X)
o Team player and open for new challenges
o Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (minimum C1 / C2 desired)
o Strong experience in working in an engineering environment using Jenkins, Git and Jira or similar tools
o Hands-on experience in ATDD, TDD and BDD and data driven testing
