Senior Software Engineer

Manassas, VA

Contract Position

This position is supporting the next generation in developing mission critical systems for our national defense. You would be a part of creating the most effective and state of the art technologies for Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance supporting the Army, Navy, Air Force, Special Forces, and other Federal Government agencies working with our military.

Responsibilities:

• Work in a team-oriented environment
• Design interfaces based on provided requirements, and document the interface design
• Deploy and test developed software on both virtual and physical systems
• Develop scripts in support of integration and testing activities
• Learn quickly and adapt to a wide variety of technologies and tasks

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering or related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field combined with 2 + years of relevant work experience; or Master's Degree.
• Clear understanding of the software engineering concepts, principles, theories, software development process, and agile methodology
• Clear understanding of the software development process, with Agile experience
• Ability to grasp and apply new information quickly and handle increasing responsibilities with growing complexity
• Team player who thrives in collaborative environments and revels in team success
• Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others
