RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in search of a Principal SRE/DevOps Engineer in Salt Lake City, UT.Summary:You will be directly responsible for helping the group experiment with new products as part of the emerging technology evaluations and MVPs. Expect to be involved in development of deployment automation for new vendor and custom products, understanding how current ECS systems work, troubleshooting, writing test applications as well as unit and performance tests; A very exciting mix of tasks that will keep you constantly learning.Duties:

• Mentoring other team members
• Collaborating in an autonomous team, owning all aspects of delivery
• Team player developing/deploying software in a fast-paced and highly flexible environment
• Working with global Agile teams and will contribute to enhancing engineering practices
• Forever learning and growing your skillsets to be an active contributor to a well-rounded team

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree
• 8+ years of experience in an SRE, DevOps or Cloud Engineer role
• Strong systems administration expertise- Linux administration, configuration, and scripting
• Experience with deployment of multi-site applications
• Pipeline automation and orchestration utilizing the following stack or similar
• GIT, Jenkins, Maven, Docker, JMeter, Artifactory, Kubernetes
• Must have experience containerizing Microservices
• Must have experience with Datadog
• Other Monitoring automation systems such as CloudWatch or Splunk also helpful
• Ability to effectively collaborate in an agile team
• Understanding of networking infrastructure and protocols
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving
