RESPONSIBILITIES:
A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Staff Accountant to join their team in New Milford, CT.Summary:This client is a manufacturing company that is continuously growing and thriving. They have a tight-knit team, great office culture, and including team outings. They offer a strong benefits package that includes health, dental, & vision insurance, 401K with match, flexible spending, PTO, tuition reimbursement, etc. This role will be fully in office.Responsibilities include:- Enter and process AP invoices
- Ensure invoices are coded correctly
- Answer supplier questions
- Reconcile vendor statements
- Invoice customer shipments
- Generate and distribute customer invoices
- Balance and reconcile accounts
- Review and update information in accounting systems
- Provide accounting support during the financial close process
- Support budget analysis, job costing analysis, and fixed asset accounting
- Perform customer credit reviews and recommend limits
- Perform other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Industry experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Basic accounting knowledge in a manufacturing and/or service environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Excellent communication skills
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
