RESPONSIBILITIES:

A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Staff Accountant in Saint Louis, Missouri (MO).Responsibilities include:

• Run audits, reviews, and compilation engagements in the field
• Assist clients with bookkeeping and financial statement preparation engagements
• Interact directly with clients and staff
• Utilize and develop research skills for communication and/or documentation
• Assist in mentoring, providing instruction, and growth of staff associates

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Minimum of 3 years in Public Accounting or equivalent experience in industry
• Ability to prepare financial statements and a solid knowledge of accounting and audit standards
• Some ERP system experience
• Working proficiency in audit and accounting research
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
• Perform work accurately and in a time efficient manner, with strong attention to detail, organization, and follow through
• Team player who is accountable, dependable, and goal oriented
• QuickBooks knowledge a plus
• CPA preferred, but not required
• Excel Preferred
