Join our team of competent and compassionate professionals as a Staff Supervisor in the Independent Living Support (ILS) program at Behavioral Health Network!

  • Initiates, supports and ensures quality of life through empowerment, safety awareness and respect and dignity.
  • Ensures overall health and well-being by actively participating in Health Care Management meetings chaired by the area nurse, accompanying individuals to medical appointments, and arranging necessary follow up.
  • Oversees all aspects of medication treatment and administration, including preparing Health Care Provider Orders, Medication Administration Records, Current Medication Lists, Weekly MAP Checklists, Monthly MAP Checklists, and Medication Occurrence Reports (HCSIS) and ensures corrective action required by a MAP Audit occurs.
  • Provides crisis intervention and emergency services as needed, including serving as a member of the area on call team.
  • Acts as primary implementer of strategies to meet ISP goals.
  • Takes necessary actions to protect individuals in the event of an abuse/neglect complaint and completes all required follow-up from internal and external investigations.
  • Completes all documentation required by the electronic health record.
  • Reviews portions of the electronic health record prepared by supervisees in a thorough and timely manner.
  • Completes program specific forms and required, time-sensitive documents in a timely manner, and ensures proper review before submission, including Health Encounter Forms and Contract Reports.
  • Completes health and medication-related documents as individually indicated and in accordance with Agency Policy and MAP regulations.
In the Developmental Services program at BHN (Behavioral Health Network), we provide 24-hour staffed residential services, community day support, individual and family support services, a social club, and an advocacy program. Qualifications/Requirements

Staff Supervisors at Behavioral Health Network have the following qualities:

  • Requires a minimum of two years' experience in human services.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Minimum of Associates Degree or equivalent, or; High School diploma / GED + 3 years relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Individuals must be committed to individual empowerment and growth, human rights, and community integration.
  • Must have familiarity with internet, word processing and email systems.
