Summary of Role:

GlobalFoundries Fab 9 in Essex, VT is seeking a skilled and motivated Lab Technician to be a part of the Reliability Engineering team engaged in advanced technology reliability characterization. As a Staff Technician, you will be responsible for reliability measurement for semiconductor devices. Staff Technician positions in REL lab are hourly shift positions and work on the day shift fully on site (Mon-Fri) and occasional weekend time as needed.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Perform wafer level reliability and package level reliability testing (HCI, BTI, TDDB, EM..) to support technology reliability development, qualification, and monitoring.
  
• Execute electrical measurements using semi-automatic and fully automatic probers, and parametric testers.
  
• Implement proper documentation to ensure proper reliability test operations and conformance to GlobalFoundries' quality system.
  
• Track lab equipment calibration, maintenance, and repair.
  
• Support lab activities to drive cycle time, cost, and quality improvement.
  
  

Other Responsibilities:

• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements, and programs.
  
• Work and collaborate on other projects and/or assignments as needed.
  
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
  

Required Qualifications:

• Education - Associate Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering related field.
  
• Experience - Minimum 5 Years in semiconductor testing.
  
• Basic understanding of electronic circuits and semiconductor device operation.
  
• Fluency in the English Language - both written & verbal.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in semiconductor wafer level test lab.
  
• Understanding of wafer and package level reliability testing.
  
• Strong teamwork skills like communication, collaboration, and positive attitude.
  
• Strong planning & organizational skills.
  

Expected Salary Range
$63,500.00 - $142,000.00

The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
