Manpower is hiring for Sterilizing Technicians! Whether you are a recent graduate or experienced in the sterilization field, Manpower would like to connect with you! We are partnered with a stable and growing company in Salt Lak e City, Utah area who is looking for individuals just like you!

What's in it for you?

• Schedule: TBD (Some overtime as needed)

• Pay rate: $14.60/hr.- $22/hr.

• Long term (Temp to Hire)

What you'll be doing:

* Performing instrument processing functions according to AAMI Standards and SPSA's published Work Instructions (WI's) as well as Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).

* Processing incoming instruments in our controlled access Soil Sort (decontamination) area, while wearing appropriate PPE attire.

* Verifying and accurately assembling instruments, per client requests.

* Properly documenting missing instruments according to written SOPs.

* Ensuring best care of each customer's owned item.

* Inspecting and ensuring that each instrument is in good working order prior to placing in tray or pack for shipment.

* Assembling and disassembling of instruments while maintaining all quality criteria.

* Effectively operating machinery such as washers, sterilizers and other related equipment.

* Completing necessary paperwork and computer functions, as appropriate for daily work.

* Adhere to Company's Quality standards.

* Making recommendations to management for possible improvement.

* Keeping work area neat and clean.

* Effectively interfacing with operations personnel, distribution and others as appropriate.

* Other duties as assigned.

The skills we are looking for:

* High School Diploma required. Instrument Technician Certification preferred

* General knowledge of surgical instruments and steam sterilization process

* Good manual dexterity and detailed oriented

* Must be able to multi-task, and communicate with all levels of staff

* Must be willing to obtain necessary vaccines and testing required to work with soiled items

* Must have basic knowledge of data entry
