Role: Strategy Associate; Salary $90-$100K

Role Description & Responsibilities:

As a Strategy Associate, you will have a unique opportunity to drive the strategic decisions of the company, and deliver tangible impact and value creation. Reporting to the Vice President, Strategy, the Strategy Associate role works closely with members of the Executive Leadership Team to support organic and acquisitive growth, strategy, and business operations.

Within these domains, you will be responsible for the following activities:

• Provide project leadership for organic growth planning and other go-to-market and operating model strategic initiatives, including gathering feedback from team members, financial analysis, and presenting to company leaders
• Serve as an integral member of the internal M&A deal team, responsible for due diligence of new acquisition opportunities, financial modeling, operational and market analysis, and coordination with the company's investors and Board of Directors
• Lead data analysis efforts to evaluate operating performance, drive external and internal reporting, and augment organic growth and operating expense planning
• Support internal market intelligence, including researching industry trends, identifying growth opportunities, and assessing competitive landscapes
• Drive post-merger integration efforts of acquired companies, including development of integration workplans and project management for integration efforts  
• Close coordination with the Executive Leadership Team on a day-to-day basis
• Analytical and presentation support for Executive and Board meetings
• Support for other ad hoc strategic projects and initiatives

The Strategy Associate will sit in The Stepping Stones Group's fast-growing Strategy Office, and report to the Vice President, Strategy. You will also have regular exposure to the CEO, Chief Development Officer, CFO, CIO Business Unit Presidents, and other members of the Executive Leadership Team.

Preferred Candidate Background:

• 2-3 years of experience in management consulting or investment banking
• Strong analytical thinking
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proven problem-solving skill set
• Deep experience analyzing, interpreting, and summarizing data to drive business decisions
• Skilled in coordinating and executing long-term projects
• Team player who excels in a collaborative environment
