What You Will Be Doing - You are in charge of building and system concepts and documentation processes from schematics to construction administration phases for the phases within the discipline.
- When necessary, lead the discipline team on small to medium-sized projects.
- Assist the team with larger-scale initiatives.
- Develop and keep track of project progress reports.
- Perform product and material research as needed for project development.
- Prepare and record the project's necessary code research.
- Interact with the team leaders in various disciplines.
- Carry out any additional tasks that your supervisor may designate.
What You Need for this Position - 4-8 years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required, Masters Degree preferred
- Professional Engineering license is preferred
- Knowledge of structural systems, seismic design, construction means and methods, materials, and industry standards
- Ability to communicate both verbally and in written form concepts and ideas to a diverse audience of Architects, Engineers, and Owner clients effectively
- Experience with modeling software (Autodesk Revit)
- Experience with general business and industry software (Microsoft Office suite) and Industry standard Structural Engineering software
