Braun Intertec is seeking a Structural Steel Inspector with a current CWI to join their team in North Dakota:



Responsibilities:

• Performs structural steel inspections on vertical structures

• Prepare reports and other work documents in a timely and accurate manner

• Understands and utilizes safe work practices

• Additional responsibilities performing MT, PT, UT, and visual inspections on specifically assigned field projects, based on preferred additional NDT certifications.



Required Skills & Experience:

• Structural steel inspection experience on vertical structures

• Current AWS CWI, with experience is required

• Additional Level II MT, Level II PT certifications are strongly preferred

• Additional RT, UT and Shearwave certifications and experience are a plus

• Experienced with NDT methods, procedures, and equipment

• The ability to communicate, coordinate and work effectively with multiple office locations (Dallas & San Antonio)



Minimum Requirements:

• Structural Steel Inspection experience

• AWS-CWI certification required

• Recent experience performing MT, PT as a certified level-II strongly preferred

• RT, UT and Shearwave experience is a plus

• Must meet and have documentation demonstrating satisfaction of ASNT-TC-1A Level II requirements for experience and education

• Must have a valid driver's license, acceptable driving record

• Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Must be able to lift a minimum of 75 lbs.

• Must be able to work off ladders and scaffold

• Must be willing to travel (75% - 100%)
