Who We Are:

Using chemistry, biochemistry, and chemical engineering technologies, we perform research and development services for industrial and government clients. Our scientists are pioneers in multiple chemistry fields including pharmaceuticals discovery, synthesis, scale-up, analytical, formulation, and clinical supply.

Objectives of this Role:

• Learn about project leadership to meet scope, schedule, and budget constraints for drug development programs
• Learn and assist in proposal preparation to include identifying project opportunities, planning the approach to win, building the team, developing the technical proposal, developing the cost proposal.
• Assist other project managers in project execution. Interact with technical staff to convey work assignments, progress updates, problem identification, problem resolution, workplace safety, and compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
• Observe how Division staff interact with clients to convey progress, execute scope of work, and identify/manage risks.

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:

• Communicate with peers, staff, supervisor, and clients as projects progress.
• Assist in briefing and communicating with upper management on current projects and proposal strategies and dispositions on a timely basis.
• Observe, learn and contribute to the internal meeting environment by making recommendations, offering ideas, supporting team members, and taking initiative to work on tasks.
• Review with staff for start-up to completion, establishing protocols and procedures, obtaining necessary subcontractors/vendors, providing documentation, providing work instructions to technical staff, reviewing results data, and preparing reports.
• As needed, support laboratory and pilot plant with hands-on support to meet project goals and timelines.

Requirements:

• Must be pursuing a Bachelors degree in Bioengineering or Biomedical Engineering.
• 0 years: Education or training in project management preferred.
• A valid/clear driver's license is required.

Special Requirements:

Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen.
