Responsibilities

Directly advises at least one Greek Governing Council. Assists governing councils and chapters to formulate policy and solve problems that affect their members and the University. Continuously available beyond scheduled or normal working hours to monitor and respond to emails to support the governing councils' university operations. Interprets a wide array of University policies and procedures for student leaders, council executive board members, chapter advisors, alumni, national organization officers, and parents.

Manages and supports educational programs related to leadership development, risk management, peer and group accountability, and values congruence programming through the development and evaluation of learning outcomes. Ensures programs work cohesively together to promote the mission and vision of Fraternity and Sorority Life, and FSU. Programs include but are not limited to the Greek Leadership Summit, new member programs and emerging leaders' courses.

Coordinates advisor, house director, and house corporation advisor meetings and trainings.
Communicate with all constituents related to this area.
Coordinates risk management efforts.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and two years of experience; or a high school diploma or equivalent and experience equal to six years. (Note: post high-school education and/or experience may substitute at a comparable rate.)
* Knowledge of and the ability to apply the principles and practices to align tasks and people with organizational goals and objectives strategically.
* Knowledge of the principles and practices of student program planning, development, and evaluation.
* Ability to deal with crises and manage sensitive information.
* Ability to develop and implement policies, procedures, goals, and objectives.
* Knowledge of and the ability to interpret and apply related University policies, procedures, principles, and practices.
* Ability to adhere to ethical business practices and promote ethical behavior.
