Job Responsibilities

Join Trident Technical College! This summer, TTC will offer 36 full-week summer camps at various locations throughout the summer. Students from our community will take part in a fun educational journey exploring multiple STEM topics! This is an excellent opportunity for individuals in the following areas to share their education and experience.
Camp assistants are assigned camps on topics, location, and age group. These positions will will engage with students in the classroom, provide guidance and help during instruction, create a welcoming environment, and foster creativity and learning. Assistants will also assist with classroom preparation and maintenance, daily check-in and check-out, assist instructors with classroom management and engage with parents, staff, and others as needed.Camps are from June 10 through July 26 and grouped by ages 7-9, 10-12, and 13-15. Work hours are Monday-Friday 20- 40 hours a week between the hours of 7:30 am - 5:30 pm , with an half hour lunch break. Assignments are made weekly for 1-6 weeks, depending on availability. Minimum and Additional Requirements

Ideal candidates will have previous related work experience. The minimum pay rate for these positions are $18 per hour.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous camp assistant or instructor experience is preferred. Ideal candidates will be energetic self-starters who enjoy a fast-paced environment working with children and teens of various ages. College students enrolled in a related major are encouraged to apply.
