Description
The Superintendent is accountable for the productivity, talent and cost management in a converting facility.This position reports to the Plant Operations Manager.Manage and actively develop the team, supporting them in meeting the goals of the plant. Implement and follow safety, environmental, quality, productivity, talent and cost goals and action plans with other facility leaders.Support the team to evaluate and troubleshoot problems or issues in the department.Responsible day-to-day operations. Directly responsible for business results in their area.
- Bachelor's degree in technical field (paper engineering, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, etc.)
- 10 years of Kraft Mill experience (Pulp/Power/Recovery area experience preferred)
- 5+ years of leadership experience
- Proven experience with reliability and continuous improvement principles and techniques
- Experience with unions
