Quality Superintendent

The Quality Superintendent manages total quality programs, policies, and initiatives for the Nekoosa, Wisconsin, mill, and is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and developing improvements in productivity, quality, client relationships, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct interaction with customers to resolve quality complaints and concerns
• Implementation and management of customer specifications
• Management of test lab personnel (safety, performance & quality) and equipment
• Provide feedback to crews along with training them in the area of quality control
• Statistical analysis of quality performance

Required Education/Experience:

• A university degree in chemical engineering, paper sciences, or related technical field
• 5-10 years of broad mill operations and technical expertise
• Knowledge of quality processes
• Experience working with customers, sales, and marketing
• Analytical, critical thinking and proven problem-solving skills
• Strong time management, planning and follow-up skills
