Responsibilities

Responsible for providing expert level expertise on decisions and priorities regarding the enterprise's overall systems architecture. Facilitates the establishment and implementation of standards and guidelines that guide the design of technology solutions including architecting and implementing solutions requiring integration of multiple platforms, operating systems and applications across the enterprise. Reviews, advises, and designs standard software and hardware builds, system options, risks, costs versus benefits and impact on the enterprise business process and goals. Develops and documents the framework for integration and implementation for changes to technical standards. Assists in the development of and manages an architecture governance process. Provides technical guidance to project team areas as appropriate. Tracks industry trends and maintains knowledge of new technologies to better serve the enterprise's architecture needs. Requires limited day to day supervision and guidance on handling unique situations. Follows established guidelines and interprets policies. Acts as team lead or project manager on individual projects and on broader programs. Supervisor to be responsible for providing guidance and leadership for a team of around five to eight engineers

Salary Range: $133,452.80 to $164,840.00 (Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.)

Technical Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Master's degree

Experience

A.

10 years of IT experience in networks, systems, storage, desktops, and applications, which includes 7 years of network experience in a large IT operation and 3 years architecting and administration of systems and data centers.

B.

Prior experience in the health care industry including exposure to Epic Systems technologies.
