The Quality Team at the Indianapolis Distribution Center in Lebanon, IN is seeking an experienced Supervisor of Operations (1st Shift)! This person will coordinate and be responsible for our quality department - assuring that products, parts and supplies are shipped, distributed, received, packaged, and stored according to policy and procedure. We are seeking someone with people management experience who wants to lead a new team!

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the monitoring, receipt, classification and storage of products, materials, tools and equipment
• Supervising the creation and maintenance of operating procedures, space utilization, maintenance and protection of facilities and equipment
• Focusing resources on process improvement related to movement of materials through various distribution processes
• Establishing key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to warehouse planning/forecasting to measure actual performance
• Leading all aspects of delivery and shipment of parts to ensure quality and prevention of back-orders and safety concerns
• Ensuring accurate record keeping within OSHA guidelines for Material Safety Data Sheets, Recordable injuries, and other requirements
• Developing risk assessment plans should demand exceed supply
• Leading and developing people

The salary offered for this position will fall between $60,000 and $79,000 annually

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 5 or more years of front-line warehouse management, production management, or other supervisory experience OR
• High School Diploma/GED with at least 10 years of experience in front-line warehouse management, production management, or other supervisory experience
• Microsoft Excel experience
