This is a full-time (40 hours/week) paid internship that will begin on June 6, 2022 and conclude on August 5, 2022.

Job Summary and Scope:

As a Supply Chain Technology Intern, you will be working on a Supply Chain team to explore and propose how technology selections can improve our supply chain, from forecasting through delivery. You will collaborate with leaders and subject matter experts across the organization to articulate the benefits/impacts technology will have on customers, costs, and efficiencies.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Research and recommend IoT, Cloud, Data Analytics, RPA and related technology that can be applied through our Supply Chain to create efficiencies that enable cost reductions and enhance our customer experience

    • Collaborate with Veritiv subject matter experts, IT professionals, and Process Leaders to propose technology that will lead to benefits in our supply chain.

    • Collaborate with ERP team and systems integrator to ensure that the technology is compatible with ERP.

Qualifications/Knowledge & Experience

  • A rising junior or senior pursuing a bachelor's degree in information systems, supply chain, business administration, computer science, statistics, engineering or other related field from an accredited four-year college or university.

  • Some knowledge of Cloud technology, IoT, Digital Analytics & Transformation

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Detail oriented with the ability to work with large amounts of data and reporting tools

  • Excellent communication skills - both technical and non-technical

  • Ability to work and team with a multitude of different people to balance demands 

  • Ability to articulate gaps and recommend solutions detailing benefits

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:

Travel less than 5%
