We are currently seeking a Supply Planner to be located in Stamford, CT and report to the Senior Manager, Supply Planning The primary responsibilities will include ensuring supply of international brands and launch new products across the network in the most cost effective manner possible.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Create and control planning schedules that are aligned with regional/national forecast requirements to support customer service levels
  • Provide sales history trends & insights to support forecasting for key product lines
  • Support Bad Goods (inventory shrinkage & damage) P&L by managing days on hand targets appropriately and identifying depletion plans for products as needed
  • Support escalation issues related to product availability, factory production and participate in Sales, Inventory & Operations planning calls for the region as required
  • Support SKU rationalization efforts

Key qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Operations, Logistics or Supply Chain
  • Minimum 3 years experience in manufacturing/logistics environment
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint, SAS
  • Experience working with forecasting tools and principles
  • Ability to travel 10% of the time
  • 1-2 years experience in demand and supply planning
  • Continuous Improvement or Process Improvement Experience
  • Working knowledge of CPG demand forecasting, promotions and pricing preferred
  • Knowledge or experience with computer-based planning system a plus (APO, SAP ECC) a plus
  • Strong analytical, quantitative skills with a proven ability to problem solve and develop solutions to complex issues
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment, ability to influence others not under directly control
