What we need:

Mohawk is looking for a Supply Procurement Specialist to join our Purchasing team and be responsible for ensuring best practices in our Supply Rooms as well as the SAP Procure-to-Pay process.

The perfect candidate for this role has the ability to quickly learn SAP tools and possesses the energy and charisma to not only train new employees in the process but energize and excite current employees with the best practices.

What you'll do:

  • Lead SAP best practice training for supply room and plant personnel at all Flooring North America locations
  • Work with stakeholders in all facets of the procure-to-pay process
  • Manage reporting and audits to ensure compliance with Supply Room and MRP ordering best practices
  • Conduct analysis on inventory levels and vendor lead times to help facilitate inventory reduction opportunities
  • Work collaboratively and efficiently with all internal partners and stakeholders, to ensure alignment and prioritization of goals, projects and resources
  • Develop and maintain a positive team dynamic to ensure collaboration and high performance.
  • Develop and implement improved processes to measure Supplier Performance

What you have:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Strong understanding of SAP, Supply Room policies and Procure to Pay concept (P2P)
  • Passion for results, strategy and execution
  • Ability to motivate and excite people who will be hesitant to change.

  • Problem solving, including identifying alternative solutions, projecting consequences of proposed actions and implementing recommendations in support of goals

  • 25% Travel (mostly in the Northwest area of Georgia, 1 or 2 times per overnight)
