Summary of Role:

The Surface Prep Process Engineer is responsible for tool and process ownership in the surface prep module. The surface prep module provides wafer cleaning, wet etching, and Cu plating support to the fab. Toolsets and processes are extensive and varied. This position will own a subset of the module responsibility within the Steag, CFM, FSI, SEZ, DNS, and Plating toolsets. This position provides process engineering support for the module: Line support, yield improvement, cycletime, cost performance, and new technology development. The process engineer works closely with the team of technicians, equipment engineers and maintenance to achieve module goals.

Essential Responsibilities Include:

• Line support: Lot disposition, deployment, tool issues
• Yield: Understand and drive actions to achieve module scrap targets
• Capacity: Address module capacity and deployment requirements
• Cost: Identify and implement ongoing cost-savings measures

Other Responsibilities:

Perform all activities in a safe ad responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:

• Education - BS Engineering or 5 years of semiconductor engineering experience
• Experience - 2 years
• Travel - 10% travel (variable, as needed)
• Language Fluency - English
• Physical Capacity Demands - None

Preferred Qualifications:

• BS Engineering
• 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience
