Location: Schenectady, NY
Salary: $22.28 USD Hourly - $32.31 USD Hourly
Description:
The Judge Group is in immediate need of a Surgical Technologist Level 2. For immediate consideration, please email LPN license, Surgical Technologist certification and updated resume to mpress@judge.com.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing and maintaining a sterile field for surgery.
• Passing instruments and assisting the surgeon during surgery.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and a positive experience.
• Following safety protocols to prevent infections and injuries.
• Understanding surgical procedures and surgeon preferences.
• Keeping surgical instruments and equipment sterilized using proper techniques.
• Participating in continuing education to stay up-to-date on the latest practices.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduation from an accredited surgical technology program or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in New York.
• Minimum two years of experience as a surgical technologist.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential.
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move up to 35 lbs.
• Good hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to stand or squat for extended periods.
