System Administrator (MasterControl Contract at NIH)

Primary Responsibilities:

As a System Administrator for the MasterControl contract at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful implementation and management of our quality management system (QMS). Here are your key responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for our client, NIH.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure alignment with our QMS solutions.
• Work with agility, acting as a SCRUM master, to address business values, quality standards, harmonization across business units, security, and regulatory compliance.

Solution Development:

• Develop wireframes, storyboards, and user stories to guide the QMS implementation.
• Present a comprehensive understanding of business requirements to the application team and stakeholders.
• Conduct thorough reviews of change requests, enhancements, and defects to ensure completeness.

Support and Analysis:

• Provide backup support for analyzing business processes, documentation, and training policies within the organization.
• Assist the user community by executing ITSM tickets and addressing technical issues.
• Collaborate with vendors to analyze and resolve operational and maintenance (O&M) issues.

Quality Assurance and Configuration Management:

• Perform quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) on configuration items.
• Implement approved system configuration changes.
• Regularly audit the application to maintain system integrity.

Reporting and Communication:

• Generate monthly progress reports for the project team and system owner.
• Highlight key issues, risks, and resource allocation related to QMS and implementation.
• System Administration (MasterControl iQMS):
• Manage the MasterControl system, including configuration changes.
• Document system configuration changes using Change Control tickets in Jira.
• Maintain system environments according to approved configurations.
