Location: Onsite - NASA JSC White Sands Test Facility Las Cruces, NM

Security Clearance:

Must be a US Citizen eligible for a DoD Secret Clearance.

Job Summary:

Mid-level systems engineering support. Applies comprehensive knowledge of concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical assignments. Provides analysis related to the design, development, and integration of cloud, hardware, software, human-machine interfaces, and all system level requirements to provide an integrated IT solution. Develops integrated system test requirement, strategies, devices, and systems. Directs overall system level testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mid-level systems engineering support.
• Applies comprehensive knowledge of concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical assignments.
• Provides analysis related to the design, development, and integration of cloud, hardware, software, human-machine interfaces, and all system level requirements to provide an integrated IT solution.
• Develops integrated system test requirement, strategies, devices, and systems.
• Directs overall system level testing.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

• 8-years of experience
• Bachelor's Degree
• Knowledge of digital video content delivery methods, architecture, and technology
• Knowledge of structured cabling systems, using both copper and fiber infrastructure
• Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and oral/written communication skills for effective interaction with customers and co-workers.

Physical Requirements:

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distance may be required. Possible lifting up to 50 lbs.
