Beacon Hill is hiring! We have partnered with a Non-Profit organization in Chicago in hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist to start immediately. This is a newly created role due to growth of the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively source and release job postings on various job platforms (e.g. LinkedIn, Indeed, Universities/Handshake) to attract a diverse candidate pool
  • Screen candidates' resumes & conduct initial phone interviews daily
  • Provide a seamless process and quick response time in initiating and coordinating interviews between candidates & hiring managers/teams
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with all hiring managers across departments including initiating kickoff calls to gain a comprehensive understanding of hiring needs
  • Conduct professional reference checks and verify live scan/ background clearance
  • Collaborate with the Talent Operations team, hiring managers, candidates, and IT to arrange new hires' onboarding details and ensure an impressive new hire experience
  • Lead the employee referral program and seek opportunities to revamp the program
  • Engage passive candidates for future hiring needs by nurturing relationships with a diverse set of universities including coordinating and presenting in campus lunch & learns, coffee chats, career fairs, or other potential recruiting opportunities
  • Oversee talent pipeline in Applicant Tracking System (iCIMS) while maintaining accurate recruiting metrics and ensuring candidate records are up-to-date

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • About 1+ years of experience in full cycle recruitment and pipeline management
  • Experience with tracking recruiting metrics (e.g. source, time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, etc.) & meeting hiring goals
  • At least 1 year sourcing experience finding untapped top talent via LinkedIn, Indeed, and other channels
  • Track record of building professional relationships and providing a positive client and candidate experience
  • Experience maintaining candidate workflow in an applicant tracking system
  • Detail-oriented & exceptional organizational skills
  • Self-starter with "can do" attitude
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
