RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce's client, a well-known, long standing 120 + professional regional CPA firm in New York, NY is seeking a Tax Director/Partner. This will be a leadership role in the firm's tax practice which is comprised of 4 partners and 20+ staff members. They will be part of a unique, firm sponsored leadership training program. With several current partners moving towards retirement, this is a great opportunity to take over a 7-figure book of business. They have outstanding comp, benefits, near term equity potential with no investment required and hybrid work arrangement.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Graduate degree in Tax preferred
• CPA
• 12+ years of progressive tax leadership experience in a public accounting setting seeking a long-term home and a partnership
• Proficient in MS Office suite and QuickBooks; Proficiency in ProSystem Tax, or an equivalent tax software, required
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Demonstrated commitment to the tax field through participation in professional interests
