RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client, a growing CPA firm is looking for a Tax Manager for their Grand Rapids or Muskegon, MI office. The position leads their tax department in that office and be a strategic driver of their growth for the office.Responsibilities:- Preparation and review of Partnership, Corporation, S Corporation, and Individual Income tax returns
- Collaborative management and leadership of Greenville office
- Tax department strategic planning
- Mentoring through the sharing of knowledge with coworkers
- Seeking ways to improve processes and implementation
- Maintain strong client's relationships
- Tax projections and engagement planning
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- Candidate must have their CPA and at least 5 years of tax/public accounting experience
- Will hire at Manager or Senior Manager level
- This position can have a fast track to Partner
- Candidates that wish to only work 40 hours will be entertained as well
